So he intended to drive them out from the land, but We drowned him and who (were) with him all.
View 82 More Translations ↓And then Pharaoh resolved to wipe them off [the face of] the earth - whereupon We caused him and all who were with him to drown [in the sea]
He desired to startle them from the land; and We drowned him and those with him, all together
So he resolved to remove them from the face of the earth: but We did drown him and all who were with him
فَأَرَادَ أَن يَسْتَفِزَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ جَمِيعًۭا ١٠٣
fa-arāda an yastafizzahum mina l-arḍi fa-aghraqnāhu waman maʿahu jamīʿa
